House. Probably early C17. Cruck-framed. Coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply
pitched C20 asbestos roof. Renewed brick end stack to left. Single storey plus
attic. 2-window range. End to road: Plank door with moulded wood frame and wood
lintel. Casement to right with wood lintel. Attic has renewed casement with wood
lintel. Right side: renewed casement to left has wood lintel. Renewed door to
right has C20 hood. Attic has 2 renewed C20 half-dormers. Interior: inglenook
fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer and bread oven. Stop-chamfered beam.
Partly renewed joists. Cruck truss of 2 blades visible on ground
and attic floors. Purlins. Plank door with strap hinges.
