6/101 The Malthouse

House. Late C17 with later additions. Finely jointed regular coursed limestone
rubble. Steeply pitched C20 tile roof. Brick end stacks on rendered bases. Stone
copings with moulded stone kneelers. T-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 2-window
range. C20 central entrance porch has hipped C20 tile roof. Entrance is flanked
by a 3-light and a 4-light stone-mullioned window with hood mould and label
stops. First floor has 2 similar windows. 3-light windows. Wrought-iron springs
and casement fasteners. 3 gabled C20 roof dormers. Conservatory attached to
right. Interior not inspected.
