Lodge. c.1830. Perhaps designed by E. Blore. Squared and shaped coursed
limestone rubble with moulded plinth, quoins, moulded eaves cornice with
gargoyles and embattled parapet. Stone-slate pyramidal roof and C20-tile roof.
Complex plan. Domestic Tudor style. 2-storey, one-window range of 2- and 3-light
mullioned windows with hood moulds and labels. To right of train range a gabled
porch with flanking buttresses and coped parapet with Tudor-style finials, Plank
door within Tudor-arched surround with hood mould and carved labels. Further
gabled range, mullioned windows and C20 one-storey range to rear. Interior not
inspected. History: Lodge to Weston House by E. B1ore,now demolished.
