6/153 Combe House


House. Early C19, with possible C18 origins. Squared coursed limestone with
quoins and coped gables. Stone-slate roof with stone end stacks, that to right
part rebuilt in brick. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range of 12-pane and
8-pane horned sashes with chamfered stone surrounds. 2-storey gabled porch to
centre with painted-arched doorway and 4-panelled door within flanked by 2
chamfered lights. To rear a C19 two-storey stone and brick range. Interior: C19
panelled doors. Included for group value.
