Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18; altered late C19/early C20. Pebbledashed
ironstone, with ironstone string course, even quoins and simple cornice. Late
C20 tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic;
3-window range. Symmetrical. Central late C19/early C20 half-glazed door with
margin bars. 3-light and central 2-light casements with glazing bars. All
openings throughout have simple stone surrounds with keyblocks. Left and right
return sides have attic windows, To rear: twin gables. 2-window range.
Half-glazed 4-panel door. 3-light and 2-light attic casements. Single-storey
range at right angles on left is probably an addition. Interior: large entrance
hall has run-out chamfered ceiling beam. Remains of open fireplaces in hall and
kitchen. Several doors of 2-fielded panels with strap hinges. Straight flight
staircase.
