Hemp Cottage

GV II


Cottage. Mid/late C18, with mid/late C20 alterations and additions in similar
style. Coursed ironstone. Thatched roof; brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit
plan, extended on right to 4-units. One storey and attic; 4-window range.
Central entrance has mid/late C20 glazed door and panel with glazing bars, and
thatched hood. Left end has fire window. Casements of 2 and 3 lights, on first
floor possibly original. Ground floor windows have stone lintels with keystones,
renewed on left. Swept dormers. Interior not inspected.
