Chest tomb. 1713. Carved ironstone. Moulded plinth and square partly-fluted top,
corner balusters. Long sides have on the south a central oval cartouche with 2
heads, one winged, and winged putti holding drapery, and on the north one wide
and 2 narrow fielded panels. The short sides have sunk panels, with a large
winged head and festoon to the east, and an open book inscribed "Memento Mori",
an hour glass, pick and shovel and skull and cross bones to the west.
inscriptions to members of the Claridge family, of various dates. Finely carved.
