Farmhouse. Early C18. Limestone ashlar with plinth, quoins and coped gables.
Imitation stone slate roof with ashlar end stacks, with moulded plinths and one
with 2 flues linked by a moulded cornice. 2 storeys plus attic; 2-window range.
2-unit plan. To right a 4-light mullioned window with king mullion and hood
mould with label stop. To first floor a 16-pane painted sash with central wood
mullion. Extending forward from left a C19 brick range with plank door, now
shop. To rear a stone gabled tower with tall C20 window. To ground and first
floor right a 16-pane sash with stone lintel. To right of building a C19 stone
2-storey range with slate roof. Interior not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
