GV II

House. C17. Limestone ashlar and squared, coursed rubble with coped gable to
left. C20 tile roof with ashlar end stack, the 2 flues on a moulded plinth.
Further small brick end stack. 2 storeys plus attic; 2-window range. 2-unit
plan. To left a 3-light mullioned window with hood mould. To right a single
chamfered light. C20 single-light casement to centre. To first floor left and
right a 2-light mullioned window. C20, 3-light, gabled dormer. Further 2- and
3-light mullioned windows to rear. Left gabled end has chamfered single light.
Further small light,above. C20 wing to rear contains door. Interior: original
stone chamfered doorway to rear of original house. Single chamfered light to
left. Heavily moulded spine beam. Open fireplace in corner with moulded timber
bressumer, in same style as spine beam. Timber and plaster partition rising 2
floors. Further open fireplace to first floor with similarly moulded timber
bressumer as that on ground floor.
