House, probably originally rear range of Stretton House (q.v.). C17, raised C19.
Squared, coursed limestone with quoins and coped gable to left. Concrete tile
roof with ashlar ridge stacks, each with a moulded base and 2 flues linked by a
moulded cornice. 2 storeys; 5-window range. To centre right a 6-panelled door
with flat hood on consoles. To right a canted bay. To centre a double chamfered
stone window with hood mould. Immediately to right of door a single chamfered
light. C20 casements to remaining openings. Attached to left a late C18 wall
approx. 20m. long and 2m. high, with stone coping. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest. Included for group value.
