GV II

Range of outbuildings including barn, shelter and stable block. C17, with early
C20 alterations and additions. Squared, coursed limestone with quoins. Thatch
and tile roofs, with one ashlar stack to barn, and coped gable to right. Barn of
approximately 6 bays with large opening and C20 plank doors. Further doorway to
left. C20 wood mullioned window between. Extending forward from left a loose box
and shelter, of 3 bays. Stable door with new wood lintel. Roof of shelter
supported on C20 stone pillar, with remainder of wood post. Studded partition
between shelter and archway. Archway is covered by an early C20 timber framed
gable. Stable block to left of approximately 3 bays, with later stable door and
early C20 wood mullioned windows. C20 dormer to shelter and stable block.
Interior: original trenched purlin roof with collars and struts between tie beam
and principal rafters. Common rafters replaced.
