8/211 The Red House
- II

House. C17, with substantial C19 additions. C19 range is brick, in Flemish bond,
with stone plinth, quoins, storey band and coped gables. Dentilled brick eaves
cornice. Tile roof with ashlar end stacks. 2 storeys; 2-window range. To centre
a 6-panelled door with semi-circular brick arch. To left and right a 3-light
casement with semi-circular brick arch. C17 stone range to left has coped gable
and stone slate roof. C19 plank door with old wood lintel and 2-light casement
with old wood lintel in gable end. The C19 addition is not of special
architectural interest.
