GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins
and coped gable to right. Stone slate roof with ashlar ridge stack, the 2 flues
linked by a cornice. 2 storeys plus attic; 4-window range. 2-unit
through-passage plan. To centre, a door with hood mould and label stops. A
single ovolo-moulded light to immediate right. To left and right a 4-light
ovolo-moulded mullioned window with king mullion. To first floor left and right
a 3-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window, with a 2-light ovolo-moulded mullioned
window to centre left and centre right. All mullioned windows have hood moulds
and label stops. To right gable end a 4-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window
with king mullion to ground and first floors. 2-light ovolo-moulded mullioned
window to attic. To rear (now front) a plank door with wood lintel, with a C19
casement above door to right, and to centre of first floor. Interior: said to
have beams and open fireplace.
