Holy Well

II

Well house and well. 1840. Ironstone ashlar with moulded string course and
cornice, and coped parapet. Flat roof. Grecian style. Central doorway, partly
below ground level, has steps down to well. Shaped lintel with illegible
inscription and roundels of carved flowers. Simplified pediment with flower
roundel and antefixae. Stone-vaulted well chamber.
