Farmhouse. Dated 1656. Regular coursed ironstone with splayed plinth. Old tile
roof has coped gable parapets with moulded kneelers; stone ridge stacks. L-plan
with cross wings and wing on right to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range.
Symmetrical front. Shallow recessed centre has flush 4-panelled door in
chamfered surround. Continuous hood mould stepped up over flanking 2-light
windows. Recessed chamfered stone mullioned windows-with hood moulds throughout.
Front has 4-light windows; cross wings have 3-light attic windows. Return sides
have 3-light windows; left side is a 2-window range. One-window right side,
blocked on ground floor. Rear is irregular. Small late C17/early C18 addition in
angle. C19 single-storey brick addition. Interior noted as having 2 moulded
stone straight-headed 4-centre arched fireplaces.
