2/95 Harbury Fields Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Late C18; rear one-storey-and-attic right wing is probably early/mid
C18, left wing early/mid C19. Flemish bond red brick with rendered plinth,
ground floor sill course, string course and moulded cornice; sides and rear have
brick string course and dentil cornice. Right rear wing of coursed limestone.
Hipped tile roofs; brick ridge stacks. L-plan, extended to U-plan. Late Georgian
style. 3 storeys; 4-window range. Entrance in third bay has half-glazed
6-panelled door and fanlight in moulded wood doorcase with pilasters and open
pediment. First and fourth bays have tripartite sashes; second and third bays
have 16-pane sashes. Rendered rusticated flat arches with keyblocks. Late C19
full-width timber and corrugated iron verandah. Lower second floor. Lean-to on
left has C20 casement. Rear irregular. Main range has cross window with
horizontal glazing bar, under brick segmental arch. Wings have C20 casements.
Interior not inspected.
