House, now 3 dwellings. Mid/late C18 with C19 alterations. Brick in Flemish
garden wall bond, rendered to front, with dentilled eaves cornice. Plain-tile
roof with brick ridge and lateral stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic;
3-window range of C18 twelve-pane sashes to right, C19 two- and three-light
casements to centre and C20 casements to left. Panelled/glazed door in right
gable end, and C20 door to left. Two C20 dormers Early C19 sashes with brick
arches in right gable end. Early C19 yellow brick wall with C19 casements, and
C20 two-storey extension to rear. Attached to left a C18 barn with C19
alterations. C18 brick in English garden wall bond to gable end, with C19 brick
to front. C19 double plank doors to left. Interior: Bridge House has C18
straight-flight staircase with slender balusters, moulded handrail and fluted
newel. C18 winder staircase rises from first floor to attic. C18 queen-strut
roof trusses visible. C18 plank ground floor. C18 six-panelled doors to ground
and first floors. Barn said to retain original roof. Included for group value.
