Chapel. Mid C19. Brick in Flemish garden wall bond, rendered to front. Slate
roof with staggered dentilled eaves cornice to sides, and rendered parapet to
front. Brick end stack. One storey of 2-storey height 3-window range of Gothick
one-light casements with Decorated-style iron tracery. Window above central door
of 2 lights with iron tracery and blind cinquefoil to apex. Double plank doors
with timber traceried head within a pointed arch. Windows and doors have
rendered hood moulds and foliage labels. Tall windows with Gothick iron tracery
run the height of building to sides. Interior: polygonal-tiled aisle floors. C19
pews and organ, and timber altar with traceried panels, all in Gothick style.
Raised altar rail with decorative iron balusters. Plaster cornice and decorative
rosettes to ceiling.
