GV II

Barn and stableblock. Late C18. Squared, coursed ironstone with quoins and coped
gables. Left gable end brick. Slate roof. Probably 7 bays. To centre large
double plank doors with wood lintel. To right a stable door with lintel and
keyblock, and quoined surround. To left and right of central doors a ventilation
slit with round head. Above to left and right a 2-light wood mullioned window
with lintel and keyblock. Interior: pegged queen strut roof with collar. C18
brick walls divide barn from stable. In barn, a stone flagged floor. In stable
chamfered spine beam and joists with run-out stops. Included for group value.
