Farmhouse. Early to mid C18. Ironstone ashlar, with storey band, moulded eaves
cornice and coped gables. Slate roof, with C19 stone end stacks with 2 square
flues linked by moulded cornice. Earlier bases. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window
range. To centre a 4-panelled door within Venetian-style surround with leaded
lights. Above, a hood supported on consoles. Stone steps lead to ground. To left
and right a Venetian-style window with leaded casements and original iron
fittings. To left and right of first floor a 3-light leaded stone or wood
mullioned window, the larger centre lights containing iron casements. A smaller
3-light leaded mullioned window to centre of first floor with iron casement. To
left and right of house an iron rainwater head. Attached to front an ironstone
railing base with C19 piers to left and right, and to centre left and right.
Attached to left a 2-storey range with storey band, stone coped gable to far
left and openings with lintels and keyblocks. Attached to left a C19 outbuilding
range with 2 roundheaded arch openings with plank doors. Interior not inspected.
