This building is shown in a drawing of Church Street by Antonio Canale.
C18 2 storey 5 window momwiental facade. Lower storey of rusticated stonework.
Upper storey (part stonework part Roman cement) has twin pilasters between
bays moulded cornice with fluted frieze and balustraded parapet with ornamental
urns. Centre bay projects slightly and is pedimented. Central three-light
window with attached columns. Segmental-headed window over. Some of the
enrichment is of rather unusual character. Old tile roof. Building appears
to have received a considerable amount of restoration in C19. Acanthus
leaf capitals. Guilloche band below segmental headed window. All windows
are sashes in reveals with glazing bars.
