(There are no Nos 21 and 23).
One 2 storey simple building mainly of C17 origin. Upper storey covered
in roughcast, centre portion having been renewed. Moulded string course
in poor repair at first floor level. Lower storey rendered in modern cement.
Lower storey of No 17 has four sashes in cased frames and 6-panel oak door,
now half-glazed, with tiled hood over. Old tiles. No 17 has some close
set studding to the rear and a 2 storey wing of heavy square timber framing.
First floor flush metal casements with glazing bars.

All the listed buildings in Mill Street (both sides) form a group.
