(There are no Nos 35, 37, 39). Probably late C16 2 storey dwelling of
heavy square timber framing, having a practically continuous band of geometrical
framing between first floor level and the window sills above. Fragments
of close set studding remain on ground floor, remainder having been rebuilt
in colourwashed brickwork with modern wood casements and leaded lights.
The greater part of the early leaded lights remain in casements to upper
floor. Old tile roof. Interior: C16 datestone inserted over fireplace;
perhaps moved from outside.

All the listed buildings in Mill Street (both sides) form a group.
