One building. 2 storey structure of square timber framing, probably of
early C17 origin. Two flush gables having original barge boards and finials
with traces of carving. Inoffensive C19 plate glass shopfronts. Lower
storey of Taylor's has side wall rebuilt in stone blocks and set back,
he upper floor overhanging pavement on east side of Gerrard Street. Old
