(On corner of Smith Street and St Nicholas Church Street.) Probably C17,
2 storey plus attic house, now underbuilt on ground floor with wall partly
of stone and partly of brickwork. Upper floor now covered with fake framing.
Elevation to east (facing St Johns) has large gable on right hand side.
Inoffensive C19 Plate glass shopfronts. Old tile roof in continuation
with roof of No 74 above.

The listed buildings on the south side from Nos 54 to 76 form a group
