1562 on first floor panel. Substantial farmhouse of ashlar, hipped old
tiled roof with slightly projecting central gablel with moulded coping,
kneelers, 2 light attic casement with flush chamfered surround, stone mullion.
2 storeys and attic, 2 and 3 light stone mullion and transom casements,
flush chamfered surrounds, projecting on first floor on carved console
corbels, fluted friezes, cornices. Ground floor ceiling level moulded
band. Plinth with torus moulding. Central first floor corbels flanking
4 panels, 1 on right with date, 3 others with shields end initials AB.
RB and ER. Carved foliage in panel under attic window. Interior has wood
carving round hall archway, much restored segmental fireplace arch, late
C17 or early C18 bolection moulded chimneypiece.
