Gate keeper's cottage at entrance to Guy's Cliffe House. Dated 1831. Rusticated
sandstone ahslar with quoins. Steeply pitched slate roof with gabled ends and
wide projecting eaves. One storey and attic. West gable projects to road with
canted bay window at ground floor and two-light mullioned casement above. Three-
light mullioned casements at ground floor and two-light mullioned casements at
first floor; those to first floor with leaded lights. Open porch with pent roof
in angle between north and east gables. Armorial shields with A.D. 1831 in west
and south gables. Central sandstone ashlar chimney stack with three shafts.

Sandstone strapwork boundary wall with panelled piers along rota frontage. Tall
square gate piers with vases and openwork wooden gates.
