GV II

Circa C17 timber-framed cottage range, eastern part of No 20 refronted in brick
and stone. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys,
five-window range. At first floor five C19 3-light casements, each set with
centre horizontal sliding sash. At ground floor of No 18 a four-panel door
under late C19 gabled porch, and a rectangular oriel bay window with tiled roof
and supported on three brackets. At ground floor of No 20 a four-panel door
with adjoining two-light casement, both under lean-to tiled roof. Central
four-light casement with centre horizontal sliding light, and rectangular bay
window with tiled roof set in bricked-up former carriage archway. One brick
ridge chimney stack to No 20. Attached to west gable of No 18, one storey one
bay mid C19 building. Brick with steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled
end. Moulded brick eaves cornice. Building set back 3 ft from front wall of
No 18. Large mid-C19 sash window with glazing bars under rusticated lintel and
cill. Timber framing in west gable.
