Late C17 red brick house with stone dressings. Hipped plain tile roof. Moulded stone eaves cornice, stringcourse and plinth. Rusticated stone quoins. Two storeys and attic. Five bays. Square on plan with five bay elevations. Cross mullion/transom windows with flat arches with small keystones. Three hipped dormers.

The north front has flared headers to ground floor brickwork, central moulded and panelled door in moulded doorcase with rectangular fanlight and some large early C20 three-light pilastered windows and bay inserted. The east side has central doorway with rectangular fanlight and fielded panel door.

Interior: contemporary staircase on all floors, open well, moulded string with pulvinated frieze, twisted balusters and square newels with pendants. First floor room has bolection moulded chimney-piece with heavy cornice and frieze with shaped ends. Some dado panelling and panelled doors and cupboards remain.
