BISHOPS TACHBROOK Banbury Road

19/99 Hogbrook Farmhouse

House. Circa early/mid C17. Rubble stone with ashlar quoins. Extended to
south in Cl8. Rendered and painted east elevation to C17 portion and to all
elevations of C18 addition. Steeply pitched modern concrete tile roof with
half-hipped gable to north, gabled to south. Two storeys. Modern casements of
two and three lights but with two sets of C17 mullioned casements, one of two
lights and the other of three lights on west elevation. Mid-Cl9 painted brick
porch. Three brick ridge chimney stacks. Interior: chamfered and end stopped
ceiling beams, large open fireplace.
