House C17 front range C 1700. Timber framed at rear with brick nogging. Front
range: red brick with hipped plain tile roof, 2 stacks, 2 storeys and attic,
five bays. Strip pilasters frame central bay, and at ends of facade, linked
by brick band at first floor level. Brick eaves cornice with projecting brick
course below which defines a "frieze" running above first floor windows. Pedi-
ment gable over the central bay with moulded brick verges. Central C19, single
storey gabled porch with four-centred arched entry. Original windows to both
floors have rubbed brick flat arches with thin keystones, blocked with brick
in second and fourth bays. Ground floor windows to first and fifth bays renewed
and enlarged with segemental brick arches. Cross mullion/transom casements
on first floor, 3 light casements in later ground floor windows. Triangular
window with segmental base in pediment. Gables at rear. Interior has stopped
chamfered ceiling beams in timber framed part.
