GV II

Circa C17 timber-framed cottage with red brick infill panels. Steeply pitched
plain tile roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. One brick ridge chimney stack.
Extended to east (two storeys) and to west (one storey and attic). Only central
old portion is of interest. At left of central portion is a modern stone porch
with tiled roof, two fixed lights with leaded panes, and at right a rectangular
stone faced bay window with glazing bars. At first floor two small two-light
casements with glazing bars. Two gabled dormers at eaves level with two-light
casements with glazing bars. Interior: Timber framing exposed and chamfered
ceiling beams.
