Small late C18 red brick house. Plain tile roof with gabled and hipped ends.
Brick dentil eaves. Two storeys. Three bays, right hand is circa mid C19
addition. Sashes with glazing bars in segmental-headed openings, ground floor
with small keystones. Central doorway with moulded architrave with dentilled
cornice and fielded panel door. Brick ridge stacks. Built on canal side and
originally a public house, later the station master's house for adjacent Hatton
Station.
