GV II*

Circa early C14 aisled hall house with later additions. Timber-framed and
sandstone, faced in brick and extended in C18. Wing to north west has stone
gable end. C18 red brick facing to south and east elevations. Plain tile roof
with gabled ends and hipped angle. Large brick stack over south range with
diagonal shafts. Two storeys. Mostly modern casements in C18 openings. C20
porch. Interior: The former hall contains base arches of circa 1300 crown
posts with four-way bracing and scissor bracing in conjunction with parallel
rafters. North west wing is said to have an early fireplace. The large aisled
hall is said to have stood alone originally and was the property of Coventry
