WESTON-UNDER-WETHERLEY Rugby Road

Circa late Cl8 red brick house with steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled
ends. Brick modillion eaves cornice. Two storeys and attic, three bays.
Central six panel door with semi-circular fanlight in pedimented doorcase. To
left three-light casements with glazing bars under segmental brick arch. To
right a late C19 rectangular bay window with tiled roof. At first floor three
segmentally headed windows, casements with glazing bars, central one of two-
lights, other two of three-lights. Two brick ridge chimney stacks at gables.
Earlier rough cast rendered wing at rear. Chamfered ceiling beams, inglenook
fireplaces.
