House. Late C18 rain range, probably incorporating earlier struction. Stone
ashlar; old plain-tile roof; various brick stacks to rear. 2-storey. 7-window
range with cross-wing to left. Gothick double-leaf part-glazed door to centre of
main range with fanlight, having stone architrave surround and surround of
clustered gothick shafts supporting entablature. 12-pane unhorned sashes to all
openings with 4-centre arched heads and gothick glazing bars. Battlemented
parapet. Right return: 2-storey angled bay with 12-pane unhorned sashes to all
openings with 4-centre arched heads end gothick glazing bars. Rear: porch to
left with 4-centre arches. Irregular fenestration costly of 12-pane sashes,
except 4-centre arched staircase window with gothick balustrade and panelled
dado. Some probably C17 panelling to ground floor centre room. Fielded panelling
to sitting room to ground floor right, with richly carved fireplace surround.
