House. Early/mid C18; front largely rebuilt mid C19. Red brick; front mainly of
Flemish bond red and yellow brick chequering; stone dressings. Slate roof,
hipped to left; brick right end stack and ridge stack to wing. L-plan, with wing
on right to rear. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Regular front. Left corner has
alternating rusticated quoins. String course band, broken on left to lower
level, and moulded cornice. Moulded 4-panelled door and overlight with fanlight
glazing. Small pitched hood has dentil cornice. 16-pane and central 12-pane
sashes have rusticated stone flat arches with keystone and stone sills. Left
return side is a 3-, formerly 5-window range. Moulded wood doorway with panelled
reveals and canted bay under single hood with moulded brackets. String course
forms segmental arch above. Sashes with stone lintels. Sundial on first floor.
