1/63 School House
Cottage. C17; partly rebuilt and altered late C19. Timber framed, with infill
and additions of whitewashed brick. C19 tile roof; C20 brick left end and ridge
stacks. 2-unit lobby entry plan with C19 outshut to rear. One storey and attic;
2-window range. C19 part-glazed 6-panelled door in painted wood doorcase on
right. C19 and C20 two-light casements, some with horizontal glazing bar,
throughout. Half-dormers. Some exposed framing to rear. Interior is said to have
ceiling beams and open fireplace. Included for group value.
