5/103 Nos.62, 64 amd 66 (Primrose
Row of 3 cottages. No.62 on right, possibly formerly 2, is late C17/C18, with
late C20 alterations and additions. Timber framed with rendered and whitewashed
brick infill. Right return side and part of rear of whitewashed brick. All 3
cottages are thatched, with brick ridge and right end stacks. 3-unit plan
extended to L-plan to rear. One storey and attic; 3-window range. Late C20
lean-to addition to front on right of whitewashed brick with tile roof has door
and window. Ground floor has 3-light late C20 casements with glazing bars
throughout. Eyebrow dormers have old 2-light casements with horizontal glazing
bar. Interior not inspected. Nos.64 and 66 are mid C18; No.66 on left altered
and extended to left late C20. Whitewashed brick. L-plan extended to T-plant
with wing to rear. One storey and attic; each is a one-window range. Reduced
opening to passageway on right has large wood lintel. Plank door and overlight
with thatched open porch. 3-light C19 casement with glazing bars and brick
segmental arch. Small C20 window to left. Eyebrow half-dormer has old 2-light
leaded casement. No.66 has entrance to rear. Ground floor has 2 late C20
three-light casements with glazing bars. Enlarged swept half-dormer has C20
top-hung window. Rear altered. Interiors not inspected.
