GV II
2 houses, probably formerly house and forge. Early/mid C18. Altered and slightly
raised early C19. Squared coursed sandstone; single-storey range to right of
coursed rubble has return side and rear of brick. Slate roofs; brick end and
ridge stacks. Baffle entry 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. C19
four-panelled door to third bay has wide 15-pane sashes above and to right.
16-pane sashes to left. Fire window on right. Entrance to No.26 in one-storey,
2-window range has plank door. Low wide 18-pane sash to left and shuttered
opening to right. Blackened wood lintels throughout. Interiors not inspected.
