Cottage, formerly two. C15/C16 with C19 alterations and additions to right, and
late C20 alterations. Timber framed: large framing with tension braces. Infill,
underbuilding and additions largely of C19 brick. Plain-tile roofs; brick ridge
and right end stacks. 2-unit, possibly originally single-ended hall house,
extended to 3-unit plan with jettied cross wing on left. One storey and attic; 3
bays, 2-window range. Right range has late C20 door. Late C20 two- and 3-light
casements. Cross wing has large curved brackets to jetty. Right range has
2-light dormer. Left return side of cross wing has rendered infill to first
floor. Interior noted as having exposed beams.
