Semi-detached house, formerly several cottages. C17 right range with C18/early
C19 range and mid C19 addition to left. Right range of large timber framing with
brick infill, some late C20. The other ranges are of Flemish bond brick. Old
plain-tile roofs; left range has lower, more shallowly-pitched roof. Brick ridge
and right end stacks. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Late C20 fielded
6-panelled door with brick segmental arch between second and third bays. Second
bay has late C20 bow window. Third and fourth bays have late C20 three-light
casements, with old 2-light casements above, all with glazing bars. First floor
has C20 two- and 3-light casements. To rear: some exposed framing. Room in
C18/C19 range has stepped-stop-chamfered ceiling beam. Original built-in corner
cupboard has panelled doors. Altered open fireplace. C17 range has exposed
framing. Ground floor has chamfered beam and run-out chamfered joists. Included
for group value.
