2 cottages, part of row. Early/mid C18 with C19 alterations. Colourwashed brick.
Corrugated iron roof, possibly over thatch, has boarded eaves; 2 brick ridge
stacks. No. 17 on left is two-unit plan; No.19 is one-unit plan. One storey and
attic; each cottage is a one-window range. Each has plank door. No.17 has fixed
light window with glazing bars to left and C19 three-light casement with
horizontal glazing bar to right, both with brick segmental arches. Very small
2-light cross-glazed attic casement. Left return side has partly-rebuilt front.
2-light casements, on first floor part-leaded, with segmental arches. No.19 has
2-light casement with glazing bars to right. Former eyebrow dormer has 2-light
crass-glazed casement. Interiors not inspected.
