3/27 The Laurels

GV II

Farmhouse Mid/late C18 with later alterations. Flemish bond brick with string
course. Old plain-tile roof, hipped to left; brick ridge and right end stacks.
L-plan with wing on right to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range.
Symmetrical front. C20 glazed door and part-glazed open-fronted porch. C19
four-pane sashes have rusticated rendered flat arches with keyblocks to ground
floor. Left return side to road has sash to right. C20 three-light wood
mullioned and transomed window to left has gauged brick flat arch. First floor
has C20 cross window, and 3 blocked windows. Interior not inspected.
