3/31 Little Lawford Mill

Watermill and mill house. Early C19. Flemish garden wall bond brick with brick
dentil cornices; mill has brick corbelling to gable. Slate roofs; house has
brick end and ridge stacks. L-plan: house has wing at right angles on right;
mill attached to and partly merged with end of wing. House is of 3 storeys;
2-window range. Symmetrical main range has 6-panelled door with tall
round-arched window immediately above. 3-light and 2-light second-floor
casements; glazing bars throughout. Most openings throughout have brick
segmental arches. Irregular mill building has plank door. Pitch door above.
Small window to right. Small attic opening. Canted left return side. irregular
single-storey range to rear. Interiors not inspected.
