Barn and tack-room. Late C18. Red brick, Flemish bond. Plain-tiled roof with
double gable having a valley gutter and gable end parapets on kneelers, and
dentil cornice. 3 bays. Round headed arches to breathers on either side of wagon
entry in similar arch. End wall has breathers in similar arches and a round
breather in the gable head. Adjoining on the west end is a tack-room. Similar
materials. Chimney in south-west corner. Single cell. 2 storeys. Round headed
arches to openings. Interior: Barn has cross walls and axial walls with round
headed openings for movement. King-post roof trusses with intermediate trusses.
The principal roof trusses have ashlar pieces carried on brick walls. The bay at
the west end was floored.
