8/75 Spring tread, approx. 450m SE of
Packington Hall
Spring head, Mid C18. Coursed sandstone. Round headed moulded arch to opening
with pedimented roof. Foliate paterae to spandrels. Possibly designed by
Capability Brown, c.1750-1, when he landscaped the garden.
