Packington Hall

Memorial. c.1760. Coursed and squared sandstone pier on sandstone plinth.
Pedimented. Cyma moulding to surround of tablet, which is inscribed in Roman
lettering, now partly eroded, and records a death by lightning in that place and
the date. On one side a stone is carved with crossed bolts of lightning.
