School house, now village hall. Tudor Gothic style. c.1840. Coursed and dressed
sandstone. Hipped slate roof with coved eaves cornice. Central gable to the
front carved with a cross. Central doorway in chamfered 4-centred arch. Boarded
door has original ironwork. Moulded label continued over flanking windows. 2
casements each of 3-lights with splayed mullions and chamfered surrounds. A
similar window and label in the south end wall. The C20 hall at the rear is not
of special architectural interest. Included for group value.
