Farmhouse. Late C18, extended early C19. Red brick with fine mortar joints in
the front wall and stone dressings now painted. Low pitch, hipped roof of slate.
Symmetrically disposed internal stacks and a further stack to the rear range.
Double pile plan. 3 storeys including a smaller attic storey. Symmetrical facade
framed by bracketed eaves cornice and rusticated quoins. The eaves cornice is
returned to the sides. Range of 3 C19 recessed hung sashes having vertical
glazing bars in gauged original brick arches with raised keyblocks of stone.
Central doorway with doorcase of broken pediment on Roman Doric engaged columns
of wood. Doorway in round-headed arch. 4 flush-panelled door with intersecting
glazing bars to the fanlight. Extended early C19 at the rear. Red brick with
slate roof and brick dentil eaves cornice.
